Ed Burnley Takes the Win at the Mountain Motor Nationals
CATONSVILLE, MD (May 15, 2012)
After making it to the track just in time to make one final qualifying session, Ed laid down a 6.14 at 227mph to sneak into the number 3 qualifying spot for the Northeast Outlaw Pro Mods show at Maryland International Raceway this past Saturday. In the first round of eliminations, Ed ran his career best elapsed time of 6.03 at 230 mph. This was the only round that he actually matched up against someone because of parts failures for Matt Deitsch in the semi-finals and Fredy Scriba in the finals. "A win is a win and we will take them any way we can get them" said Ed Burnley who also won the Superchargers Showdown race his last time at MIR last fall. "We were going to give the track record (5.926 held by Pat Musi) a run for its money in the final round but we shook the tires a bit at the 1-2 gear change. There is always the race in the fall to try that again" said Bobby Holtzner. The next race up for Ed Burnley will be ADRL Gateway Drags in Madison, Illinois June 1-2.

CATONSVILLE, MD (March 19, 2012)

After a long winter Ed Burnley
and team are getting the parts together and getting ready for the upcoming 2012
racing season. After ending last year on a high note with a win at Maryland
International Raceway at the Northeast Outlaw Pro Modified Association's
Superchargers Showdown, he is going into this season with a lot of confidence.
It was the first time racing quarter mile all season long and they fared very
well. They posted several career best numbers and the best being a 6.10 at
226mph while taking it easy on the motor. It was a perfect way to end a 2011
season. After working non-stop all winter long they are locked and loaded for
the 2012 ADRL season. "We will be focusing mainly on ADRL but we will attend
many Extreme Outlaw Pro Mod events as well as the new series at MIR on Wednesday
nights throughout the summer" said Bobby Holtzner "After a long winter we all have the itch to get back to racing,
and what better start than Houston next weekend". Follow us on Twitter and Facebook for the latest updates, news and pictures.
